Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

Bosqueville ISD is implementing the Texas Education Agency Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program starting in the 2024-2025 school year.

Through objective measures, the TIA program recognizes eligible teachers for outstanding instructional practices and provides financial resources to supplement teacher pay. The TIA program supports the vision of Bosqueville ISD by providing individualized learning experiences that prepare students for success beyond their K-12 educational career.

The TIA is an optional component of House Bill 3 designed to provide a pathway for educators to earn higher salaries. Participating districts will create TEA-approved local designation systems to identify and recognize outstanding teachers. For more information about TIA, visit www.tiatexas.org.
What is Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)?
TIA was established with the goal of providing outstanding teachers an accessible pathway to a six-figure salary. Unlike previous education programs, the Teacher Incentive Allotment is not a grant. Through approved local designation systems, districts can identify and designate outstanding teachers based on student growth and classroom observation. Employing designated teachers generates extra funding for districts to reward top performers.
