T. Burris

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

 

I grew up in south Texas and graduated from Pettus High School in 1999. I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in Agriculture Science & Technology in 2004. I married the love of my life and best friend in August of 2004 and have three awesome children. 

 

I grew up at a children's home where my parents worked that was also a working Beefmaster cattle ranch. During that time, my passion for working in agriculture grew. Before graduation from college, I knew working with youth was also a passion and calling. This is when I decided to become an ag teacher. I have taught high school ag for almost 15 years and have worked at a children's home as a caseworker and campus administrator for almost 10 years.

 

Needless to say, I believe that my calling and passion is to work with today's youth in connecting, educating, and preparing these students to be passionate about their tasks, lead by serving, and earning respect by respecting others.
