Course Policies:
Late Work:
If you have an excused absence, you have the number of days you missed to make up your work. So, if you missed 2 days, you will have 2 days to turn in your work for full credit. After that, you will be docked 10 points a day up to a 70. If your absence is unexcused, or if you were in class but fail to turn in your work on time, you may turn it in late, but all late work that is not excused will be docked points (10 points for each day). YOU HAVE 5 SCHOOL DAYS TO TURN IN LATE WORK AFTER THE ASSIGNMENT IS HANDED BACK TO THE STUDENT. After that, the late work will NOT be accepted.
Assignment Redos:
Any assignment can be retaken for half of the points back (for example, if you make a 70 and redo the assignment correctly, you can make an 85 (100-70=30, half of 30 is 15. 70+15=85)). In order to get these points, the following criteria MUST be met:
- Find the correct answer
- State WHY it is the correct answer
- State WHY you missed the question
If all of the above is NOT met, the points are NOT given.YOU HAVE 5 SCHOOL DAYS TO TURN IN THE CORRECTIONS AFTER THE ASSIGNMENT IS HANDED BACK TO THE STUDENT. After that, the corrections will NOT be accepted.
Academic Dishonesty:
A Bulldog does not lie, cheat, or steal, nor do they tolerate those who do. Those found in violation of this academic standard will be disciplined by the processes described in the Bosqueville I.S.D. Student Handbook.
