Hello, Bosqueville Bulldogs!

I’m beyond excited to kick off my second year as your school counselor here at Bosqueville! After an incredible first year filled with meaningful connections, memorable moments, and lots of learning, I’m thrilled to be back and continuing this journey with our amazing students, staff, and families. It’s truly a joy to be part of such a close-knit, supportive, and spirited community.

My path in education has been a rewarding one, with well over a decade of experience in both private and public schools. I’ve served as a school counselor for the past 12 years at places like Coleman Jr High in Waxahachie, Connally Jr High, and Whitney High School. Every stop has added something special to my journey, and I’m so grateful to now call Bosqueville home.

At home, I share life with my wonderful husband, Robert—we recently celebrated 26 years of marriage! Our son Robert and his wife Sarah celebrated their second anniversary this year. Robert serves the community as a Waco PD officer and preacher, while Sarah inspires young minds as a teacher at Live Oak Classical School. Our middle daughter, Kelly, is a proud mom, wife, and college student studying to become a speech pathologist—and Eli (now 2 years old) definitely keeps her on her toes! Her husband Hector works full time and attends college full time as well, with big goals ahead…so stay tuned! Our youngest, Haley, is following in my footsteps and pursuing her own path working with animals (she currently works at the Waco animal shelter—adopt a pet and tell them the Gobers sent you!).

We live on a ranch in Hillsboro where life is always buzzing thanks to our dog, a horse, chickens, guineas, and of course—our feathery favorite, Ms. Daisy the duck. Outside of school and family, I love to read, hunt, and fish—but most of all, I love spending time with my family doing fun things together. I also stay active in my church’s women’s group and host an online Bible study during the school year.

My favorite part of being a school counselor at Bosqueville is watching our students grow, discover their strengths, and realize that they can do ANYTHING they set their minds to. I absolutely love helping young people find their way in this world and encouraging them to explore all of the possibilities in front of them.

One of my favorite things to say is: “Nothing is written in permanent marker—we can always erase it and start again… so try things! You never know!”

That’s the spirit I hope to bring into this school year.

Here’s to another fantastic year at Bosqueville—Go Bulldogs! 🐾
My door is always open—come say hello!
